SHEL’s Eco-Clothing

Capsule Challenge

SHEL’s Clothing Capsule is designed to counteract the Fast Fashion mindset by inventing a stylish and versatile wardrobe using only clothing you own, find at thrift stores, or purchase from companies committed to ethical manufacturing.

The band has spent the last year promoting ethically made products with reuse, recycle and buying fair trade as a part of their everyday life. While on the road supporting their album Just Crazy Enough, each band member traveled with 8 key items in their suitcase. SHEL's merchandise is also ethically made in the USA and printed locally in Nashville, TN.

Thrift Store Finds [world wide]

The sisters SHEL style their own music videos and find most of their unique outfits at secondhand stores. Sarah particularly enjoys thrifting on the go: “My latest favorite thing to do on the road is hit up thrift stores =] This whole outfit (aside from that STETSON, which I'm borrowing from Amos Lee) I acquired on the road. Found that shirt in Nashville for $3, that jacket in SLC for $20 and though you can't see the pants... they're real nice BDG's that I got for $10 in Boulder. There are few things as satisfying as digging through stuff that no one wants anymore and finding some treasures!”
